Pig slaughter line design and equipment FAQ

Answers on capacity, retrofits, scalding/dehairing, permits and how equipment images are labeled.

These answers explain how we start a pig processing line review. Numerical capacity, price and compliance claims require project-specific information.

What determines the line capacity?

Animal range, operating schedule, selected process, inspection flow, building space, utilities and chilling all affect a feasible line design. We do not assign a throughput from a photograph.

Can equipment fit an existing building?

Sometimes. A measured survey of levels, columns, drainage, rail heights, structural supports and retained machines is needed before proposing an upgrade.

Do you provide a scalding and dehairing module?

The equipment can be considered as a connected module. The upstream bleeding transfer, heat/water system, dehairer outlet and wastewater route need to be coordinated.

Which permits are needed?

The answer depends on the country and locality. Start with land use, construction, veterinary/slaughter operation and environmental authorities, then verify their current forms and drawings.

Are the images customer projects?

The site labels design illustrations and equipment photographs separately. An image is never evidence of a specific delivery, location or capacity unless independently verified.
