A three-point pig stunning conveyor presents the animal at the stunning station and connects animal handling to the bleeding section. For a pig abattoir proposal, the conveyor, chosen electrical stunning arrangement, operator position and downstream transfer must be reviewed together. The equipment photograph shows a presentation example; it does not establish a stunning setting or animal welfare approval.

Match the race, conveyor and bleeding transfer
- Animal entry: provide the race dimensions, approach direction and the proposed handling route from lairage. Identify turns, level changes and operator access.
- Stunning position: explain how animals are presented and where the trained operator or control station will be located. The site veterinarian must review the selected method and monitoring procedure.
- Exit: show the connection to hoisting or another defined bleeding transfer. Specify whether that connection already exists or belongs in the new equipment scope.
- Hygiene and service: reserve access to conveyor surfaces, the contact arrangement, drives and controls for inspection, cleaning and maintenance.
Buyer questions for this machine
- What animal size range will use the conveyor, and how will the receiving race present animals consistently?
- Is the upstream handling equipment fixed, and who provides the connection between it and the conveyor?
- Which electrical services and control interface are available at the station?
- How will the operating team check the stunning process and manage an interruption? Confirm the procedure with the local veterinarian.
- Can the building accommodate operator access and the complete downstream transfer without crossing another process route?
Information to include in the quotation brief
Send a plan of lairage, the race and the first bleeding section, together with floor levels, available services, operating schedule and the proposed veterinary supervision. Include photographs and measured interfaces where an existing hoist or conveyor must remain. A proposal should identify the stunning equipment scope, transfer scope, control connections and work that remains with the building contractor.
Continue with the pig bleeding conveyor guide and new pig abattoir planning. Prepare a project brief before requesting equipment review.
