A spiral pig dehairing machine follows scalding and connects to the next surface-finishing or dressing station. The company equipment presentation shows connected machine housings. Buyers should establish the actual machine arrangement, carcass transfer and cleaning space with the engineering team before treating an illustrated configuration as the required package.

The three interfaces that control fit
- Scalding outlet: record the discharge position, level and transfer method. The dehairer inlet must be coordinated with the selected scalding system.
- Dehairing discharge: identify the next station and any hoisting or other transfer needed to reach it. Reserve space for access at the outlet.
- Hair and water handling: show collection and drainage routes, cleaning access and the connection to solids separation or wastewater treatment.
Questions for a spiral dehairing proposal
- What animal and carcass range will the line handle, and what is the proposed operating pattern?
- Which scalding configuration supplies the machine, and are its outlet dimensions already fixed?
- Is the proposal for an individual machine or a connected arrangement, and why is that arrangement proposed for the brief?
- How much usable access is available around doors, drives, transfer connections and cleaning points?
- How will hair and wash water leave the equipment area without crossing the clean product route?
- What downstream equipment remains in service, and can the new outlet connect to its existing elevation?
Request these points in the scope review
Ask for the proposed equipment arrangement, inlet and outlet positions, the service connections to be provided by others and the access needed for cleaning and maintenance. Provide scaled drawings and photographs of the scalding outlet and downstream transfer. Any stated processing rate must be supported by the selected machine configuration and project inputs; a photograph alone cannot establish it.
When a module proposal is useful
If both scalding and dehairing are being replaced, review them as a module. If the scalding system is retained, resolve its condition and interface first. A machine that fits the floor footprint can still require changes to drainage, heat supply, transfer or operator access.
